Born and raised in Bulgaria, Pirina grew up surrounded by art in all its forms. After graduating from high school she moved to Milan, Italy and got her bachelor degree in Fashion Design. She speaks fluent Italian and is currently advancing in French and Spanish.
Her love for acting and the arts brought her to New York City where she studied at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Pirina graduated playing the lead role in the production of “In The Boom Boom Room” by David Rabe. Other past productions include Cold (short), Feels Like Euphoria (short), The Old Woman (theatre of the absurd) , Like You (short) and Perspective (series), OFF The Runaway (pilot) and more.
Pirina is interested in developing work that explores love, death and the meaning of life, the light and the shadows of the human nature. She is determined to bring awareness and examine themes and issues like sexual harassment, mental disorders, addiction and depression.
Pirina is a writer and has had public readings of her work. She is currently working on her original script.
Pirina creates music and has just recorded her first track.
